Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation, a hospitality-focused organization, is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead restaurant-level operations and mentor the Heart of House team. You will model the standards, systems, and culture that define our brand and drive guest satisfaction daily.

You will coach hourly staff on service and beverage expectations, monitor food quality, and ensure safety and sanitation across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hourly restaurant staff.
• Provide timely feedback and coach staff to correct issues.
• Ensure kitchen ops meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Develop Heart of House staff to support growth.

Responsibilities

• Teach and coach hourly team on service and quality standards.
• Monitor food quality and provide timely feedback to hourly staff.
• Oversee the Heart of House on shifts and maintain efficient operations.
• Ensure line checks and production comply with systems and standards.
• Mentor and develop HOH hourly staff to support growth.
• Achieve business goals through effective financial management.
• Maintain trained staff to operate restaurant effectively.
• Ensure all operations, recipes, specifications books, and training materials are current.
• Ensure building, equipment, furniture, and fixtures are well maintained.
