Job summary

Smoky Mountain Brewery in the Knoxville area is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, support front and back of house teams, and maintain top quality and guest experience.

You’ll recruit, train, coach, and develop staff, manage food costs and labor, and partner with the management team on budgets, marketing, and community involvement to build loyalty and remarkable dining experiences.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in casual, upscale casual, or fine dining.
• A positive leader with enthusiasm and a passion for hospitality.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• The ability to coach, train, and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and prioritize guest service.
• Oversee food quality from prep to plate.
• Recruit, train, develop, and retain FOH/BOH staff.
• Partner with management to improve guest experience and loyalty.
• Help meet restaurant budgets, goals, and performance targets.
• Support community involvement and local marketing efforts.
• Manage food costs, labor, and operating expenses with a focus on FOH/BOH quality.
• Identify safety hazards and ensure guest and staff safety.
• Complete payroll, POs, deposits, and employment forms accurately.
