Smashburger 1396 Tempe Marketplace is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, lead the team, and enhance guest experiences. You will train staff, manage scheduling, enforce food safety standards, and drive cost controls while supporting the General Manager.

The role requires 1–2 years of restaurant management, strong communication, and flexibility with shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Manager experience in restaurants.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Follow Smashburger uniform standards.
• Ability to follow all guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and manage shift leaders and team members.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations.
• Monitor and improve guest satisfaction and service standards.
• Manage scheduling, labor costs, and team performance.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and cost control (COGS).
• Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing employee development.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and operational compliance.
