Job summary

VPC Pizza Management, LLC in Oak Brook, IL seeks a Restaurant Manager to supervise front of house and kitchen teams, train staff, and uphold company service standards. You will oversee scheduling, budgeting, and guest satisfaction to ensure profitability.

You will coordinate daily operations, monitor costs, and ensure compliance with sanitation and safety policies while delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications

• English language fluency in speaking, reading and writing.
• Minimum of one year’s supervisory experience.
• Ability to implement cost controls.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with colleagues and the public.
• Sanitation certification.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.
• Experience as bartender or server is desirable.
• Experience with POS systems, preferably Toast.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all booked activities such as banquets and catering.
• Oversees and assists in training and development of front of house and kitchen staff.
• Maintain effective internal controls within the restaurant.
• Responsible for maintaining budgeted financial goals to ensure profitability.
• Keeps informed about local competition and industry trends.
• Maximizes sales through marketing efforts and programs.
• Supervise staff during all scheduled shifts including mornings, afternoons and weekends.
• Oversee portion control and assist in managing food, beverage and labor costs.
• Assist with weekly work schedules as necessary.
• Handle guest complaints and needs as necessary.
