Job summary

The Ned Washington DC invites applications for a Restaurant Manager to lead the club's dining spaces, support the management team and step in when leaders are off site, shaping daily operations and the guest experience.

You will drive strategy, monitor profitability, manage labor scheduling, budgeting and monthly performance, uphold health and safety standards, recruit and develop the team, and elevate the member and guest experience through thoughtful hospitality.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience with a proven track record in hospitality.
• High standards in service, safety and audit readiness.
• Organized, detail-oriented with strong record-keeping.
• Commercial mindset to deliver financial performance and results.
• Calm under pressure and capable of leading in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including AM, PM and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support the management team in delivering operational, commercial, experiential, and people performance.
• Drive restaurant strategy to achieve goals and a long-term brand vision.
• Monitor financial performance: labor scheduling, expenses, forecasting and budgeting.
• Ensure exceptional service and accountability via the restaurant balanced scorecard.
• Maintain health and safety compliance and labor relations.
• Lead recruitment, development and performance conversations; onboard new starters.
