Description
Driven by our values and culture, the Restaurant Manager’s primary responsibility is to provide guests with an exceptional dining experience through effective shift management and team development. This role involves partnering with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Kitchen Managers to oversee planning, training, and achieving objectives related to finance, safety, quality, and the restaurant’s culture. The position also involves collaboration with Kitchen Managers, Restaurant Managers, Catering Office, and Support Center Teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead through service, support and empower the team, demonstrating integrity and commitment aligned with the company's mission, vision, and values.
- Maintain a team and guest-focused environment on each shift, demonstrating respect and loyalty.
- Collaborate with managers and team members to achieve goals through proper training, policy adherence, and service standards.
- Master the Circle of Service, delegate tasks, and communicate effectively to maintain all Points of Service.
- Engage with guests regularly to ensure expectations are exceeded and build community relationships.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and legal standards, overseeing catering services and events.
- Maintain a clean and inviting restaurant environment.
- Manage safety policies and hold team accountable for safety standards.
- Ensure food and product quality according to recipes and standards.
- Assist in achieving sales, food cost, labor cost, and operating expense goals, and address deviations promptly.
- Attend scheduled meetings, assist in scheduling, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume role; experience in fast casual and catering preferred but not required.
- Passionate, positive, results-oriented, and a team player.
- Attentive, approachable, and open to coaching and development.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a love for people, food, and service.
