Job Overview

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring that it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The GM works with a leader to set restaurant goals and create a plan to achieve them. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and operational skills.

Responsibilities

• Run a profitable restaurant while meeting McDonald’s standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Work with the leader to set goals and develop a plan to achieve them.
• Lead a team of Department Managers, providing coaching and direction to help them set and achieve their own departmental goals.
• Support Department and Shift Managers by hiring and developing staff, ensuring the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future.
