Job description

Crescent Hotels and Resorts is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for a brand new dual branded hotel, AC Hotel by Marriott Symphony Park and Element by Westin Symphony Park in Las Vegas. The ideal candidate has a strong background in restaurants, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Interview, hire, train, evaluate performance, resolve issues, and manage disciplinary actions when necessary.
  2. Lead the food & beverage staff to ensure efficient operations and achievement of business goals.
  3. Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with staff to meet guest and employee needs.
  4. Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and responding promptly to guest needs.
  5. Handle guest complaints courteously, focusing on service recovery.
  6. Train staff and model excellent guest service standards.
  7. Develop associates through interviews and performance evaluations.
  8. Motivate the team by setting goals, providing feedback, and recognizing achievements.
  9. Implement discipline and corrective actions as needed.
  10. Maintain training records and ensure all training requirements are met.
  11. Analyze quality issues and implement training to improve results.
  12. Adhere to training policies and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  13. Develop and execute service programs to meet revenue goals.
  14. Build and maintain client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  15. Adjust food and beverage operations based on sales data and guest feedback.
  16. Manage expenses to maximize profitability.
  17. Ensure effective labor management through scheduling and monitoring.
  18. Follow procurement guidelines and manage assets within budget.
  19. Conduct routine inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.
  20. Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all procedures.
  21. Manage workload effectively and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  22. Promote a collaborative, professional work environment.
  23. Participate in departmental and hotel meetings for communication and planning.
  24. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
  25. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • A minimum of 3 years of Food and Beverage experience in a restaurant or hotel setting.
