Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure excellent guest experiences, and lead our team with integrity and enthusiasm. This role requires a hands-on leadership approach and a commitment to hospitality excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Manage daily restaurant operations, oversee opening/closing procedures, and handle financial reconciliations.
- Team Management and Development: Lead, motivate, and develop staff through hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional service and promptly address guest feedback and issues.
- Inventory and Cost Control: Manage inventories, oversee orders, and control costs while maintaining quality.
- Financial Management: Support the General Manager in meeting financial goals, managing costs, and driving sales.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in high-volume settings.
- Strong leadership and team training skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage, including wine, beer, and spirits.
- Excellent communication skills and relationship-building abilities.
- Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience with reservation systems and local dining scene familiarity.
- Problem-solving skills and multitasking ability.
