Job SummaryDo you have a passion for providing guests with an exceptional dining experience? Perkins American Food Co. is looking for a Restaurant Manager who is dedicated, ambitious and seeks opportunities to grow their career. As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee front-of-house operations, ensure great food and service is delivered to our guests, and manage all front-of-house employees.

Responsibilities

The position of Restaurant Manager is a fast-paced role that manages the daily front-of-house operations, including:

  • Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
  • Overseeing the cleanliness of the restaurant and the safety of guests at all times
  • Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food-handling procedures
  • Assisting with interviewing, hiring, and training front-of-house staff
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 year of prior management experience in family or casual dining is preferred
  • ServSafe Food Manager Certification is preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and organization skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods
