Job summary

J&H Family Stores is seeking a Store Manager to oversee overall store operations, inventory control, training, and customer service excellence. The role includes directing staff, maintaining health and safety standards, and supporting local marketing initiatives.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred) and at least two years in a QSR environment with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Experience: minimum two years in QSR environment, supervising and training staff.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register.

Responsibilities

• Creates and posts staff work schedules.
• Manages a staff of approximately 4 to 12; assigns, oversees and evaluates work; recommends promotions or terminations; conducts staff evaluations.
• Communicates changes in food preparation formulas and standards to staff.
• Supports local and national marketing initiatives.
• Ensures health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety policies followed.
• Identifies and contacts prospective customers to promote sales.
