Job summary

McDonald’s Hueytown is seeking a Restaurant Maintenance Technician to maintain all restaurant equipment, systems, and facilities at a single location. You will proactively service grills, fryers, refrigeration, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations that support guest experience.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on maintenance, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting, and a commitment to safety and quality in a QSR environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience (restaurant or commercial preferred).
• Working knowledge of electrical systems (basic wiring, breakers).
• Plumbing repairs and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair core kitchen equipment (grills, fryers, refrigeration, beverage systems).
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and minor plumbing issues.
• Coordinate with approved service vendors for major repairs.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and maintain service logs.
