Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to the menu, ensuring customer satisfaction with taste and timely delivery. The Cook II assists the Sous Chef & Chef in supervising Level 1 Cooks, preparing and presenting daily menus, especially high-quality specials, soups, stews, and chilies, and supports service during peak hours.

Minimum Requirements

• 5 years of kitchen experience
• Good communication skills
• Positive attitude and cooperative nature
• Ability to follow directions and ask questions
• Maintain composure under stress
• Handle guest and employee complaints appropriately
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexibility to work holidays and weekends
• Valid food handling and alcohol licenses as required

Responsibilities

• Prepare dishes that meet high standards of flavor and presentation
• Ensure dishes are properly seasoned and tasted before service
• Maintain cleanliness of service lines and stations
• Assist servers during busy times and ensure guest satisfaction
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly
• Work cooperatively with kitchen staff and stewarding

• Properly store and rotate food products
