Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations with a focus on hospitality, profitability, and staff development. You’ll work closely with the General Manager to coach teammates, monitor performance and ensure top guest experiences.

In this role you’ll manage schedules, analyze sales and labor, uphold Freddy’s standards, and mentor a team on quality, service and teamwork. A dynamic, guest‑oriented leader thrives here.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a shift lead or manager in a full‑service, casual dining or quick‑service restaurant.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest service and develop people.
• Experience reading financial statements, sales or activity reports to measure productivity and goal achievement.
• Proficiency with desktop software and spreadsheets; experience with labor management and P&Ls is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards while managing time and priorities efficiently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• A dynamic personality and passion for serving high‑quality food with a smile.
• Always focused on profits, sales growth and team development.

Responsabilités

• Uphold Freddy’s standards of Hospitality, Quality and Cleanliness and teach them to the team.
• Lead by example, be vocal and prepared, and demonstrate strong time‑management skills.
• Show a willingness to learn and accept coaching and constructive criticism.
• Practice situational management, correct operational mistakes with guest satisfaction as the goal.
• Spend most of your time on the restaurant floor, maintaining urgency and intensity.
• Assess team performance, coach and develop team members and build a positive culture.
• Control labor and food costs, reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and equipment.
• Build relationships with guests and handle guest issues with a hospitality‑first mindset.
• Manage vendor relationships, product ordering and inventory appropriate to sales volume.
• Utilize management tools to drive profitability and growth.
• Hire, train and motivate staff, coordinate schedules and perform performance analysis.
