Job summary

sweetgreen is seeking a Restaurant Manager (Assistant Coach) to lead and develop team members, oversee front and back of house operations, and create an exceptional guest experience. You will mentor staff, ensure food safety, and drive store performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a restaurant management role.
• Experience in fast casual restaurant chains (preferred).
• Managed and developed 25+ team members per shift.
• A passion for food and restaurant operations.
• Desire to make an impact on customers and team members.
• A can-do work ethic and the ability to take initiative on projects.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and build an efficient team in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading by example and being a role model for standards and behaviors aligned with sweetgreen’s values.
• Proactively attracting, identifying, and hiring team members that fit the sweetgreen profile.
• Communicating wins, priorities, and best practices to deliver brilliant execution.
• Engaging with the local community through marketing and involvement initiatives.
• Serving as a role model for high quality, hands-on floor management and labor deployment.
• Delivering store sales and financial objectives by removing barriers to success.
• Scheduling daily labor to meet business needs and ensure great customer service.
• Ensuring food safety and security standards are met consistently.
• Maintaining food service and production levels through strong BOH and FOH execution.
• Coaching and addressing performance issues quickly and respectfully.
