Job summary

Sweetgreen is seeking an Assistant Coach (Assistant General Manager) to lead store operations, mentor staff, and drive guest experiences through data-driven decisions. You will partner with the Head Coach on goals, manage schedules, and ensure food safety and brand standards are upheld on a daily basis.

Ideally you bring 2+ years in restaurant management, a ServSafe certification, and a track record of developing teams while delivering fast, accurate service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a restaurant management/supervisory role.
• Experience managing and developing 6+ team members per shift.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Partner with Head Coach to set goals and track performance.
• Oversee food safety, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
• Manage schedules and control costs to drive sales.
• Provide hands-on coaching and ensure clear communication across shifts.
