Sweetgreen is seeking an Assistant Coach (Assistant General Manager) to lead stores, mentor teams, and partner with the Head Coach on goals while using data-driven insights to drive healthier communities through real food.

You will oversee guest experiences, food safety, scheduling, and performance, with a strong focus on coaching, operations, and long-term development of team members. Salary ranges reflect experience and store location in the United States.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a restaurant management/supervisory role.
• Experience managing and developing 6+ team members per shift.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor team members; partner with Head Coach on goals and performance.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance; resolve issues with the team.
• Drive guest experience through brand-aligned service and timely decisions.
• Support scheduling, cost controls, and operational excellence using data insights.
