Job summary

American Girl Restaurant Lead in Dallas, part of Mattel, Inc., oversees daily operations and leads the restaurant team at AG Retail Dallas, driving high-level customer service and sales performance.

You will support the Restaurant Leadership Team, manage staff, training, and vendor relations, while ensuring safety, sanitation, and quality food service. This role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• State sanitation certification and ServSafe preferred.
• Proficient with POS, reservation, and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, hiring, coaching, training, purchasing/vendor relations, inventories, safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist team in achieving department revenue and expense goals.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with dining experience and resolve issues.
• Ensure food quality and accommodate special dietary needs.
• Lead events and programs with Restaurant and Store Management teams.
• Maintain communications with staff and management.
• Troubleshoot restaurant/kitchen equipment and reservation and POS systems.
