Job summary

The American Girl Retail Dallas location seeks a Restaurant Lead to support daily operations, leadership, and high-level customer service for guests in our store dining environment.

You will assist in staffing, coaching, safety compliance, and executing events, while working with store management to meet revenue goals. This role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Restaurant leadership experience in high-volume environments.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Certification in sanitation and food safety preferred.
• Proficient with restaurant tech and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, hiring, coaching and training.
• Help achieve department revenue and expense goals.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve service issues.
• Maintain food quality and accommodate special requests.
• Collaborate with events to deliver programs and experiences.
• Maintain ongoing staff and management communications.
• Troubleshoot restaurant/kitchen equipment and systems.
• Lead by example in all areas of the business.
