Job summary

LV Petroleum is seeking restaurant team members for our travel center location. Cooks will prepare, cook, and ensure the kitchen runs efficiently, while cashiers provide a positive guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include food preparation, cooking to spec, upkeeping cleanliness and safety, inventory restocking, and teamwork with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Benefits include health care, retirement, PTO, weekly pay, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety guidelines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation: chop vegetables, marinate meats, measure ingredients and help with kitchen setup.
• Cooking and assistance: cook or assist with dishes and monitor temperature and quality.
• Cleanliness and safety: maintain a clean kitchen and follow sanitation guidelines.
• Inventory management: restock supplies and manage proper stock rotation.
• Team collaboration: work with kitchen and front-of-house staff to fulfill orders.
• Adherence to procedures: follow recipes, portion sizes, and allergen handling.
