Job summary

LV Petroleum is seeking Restaurant Team Members for our travel center. Cooks will prepare ingredients, cook dishes, and ensure kitchen efficiency; cashiers deliver friendly service in a fast-paced setting.

You will follow safety guidelines, assist with inventory, and collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams. Flexible evenings, weekends and holidays required; health care, retirement, PTO, weekly pay, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred but not required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay focused under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow kitchen protocols.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: chop vegetables, marinate meats, and measure ingredients.
• Cooking and Cooking Assistance: cook dishes per menu specifications and monitor temperatures.
• Cleanliness and Safety: keep countertops and equipment clean; follow health guidelines.
• Inventory Management: restock supplies and rotate stock (FIFO).
• Team Collaboration: coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff; assist training.
• Adherence to Procedures: follow cooking procedures, portion sizes, and allergen handling.
