LV Petroleum is seeking restaurant team members for its travel center location. The cooks will help with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean, efficient kitchen. Cashiers will assist in delivering a pleasant guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include food prep, following recipes, operating grills and ovens, and ensuring safety and food quality. Benefits include health and retirement plans, paid time off, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay focused.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Willingness to learn and follow kitchen protocols and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables and marinating meats.
• Follow recipes and menu specifications to ensure quality.
• Assist with kitchen setup and organization of ingredients and tools.
• Cook or assist in cooking dishes according to diner menus.
• Monitor food for correct temperature and quality.
• Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and stovetops safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen space.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Dispose of food waste and manage proper waste.
• Ensure proper food storage and FIFO rotation.
• Assist with restocking kitchen supplies and inventory.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff and train new team members.
• Adhere to cooking procedures and portion sizes; handle allergens correctly.
• Contribute to a positive, productive team atmosphere.
