Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek is seeking a host/hostess to create memorable first impressions for guests. You will greet, seat, and escort guests, present menus, and coordinate seating with teammates to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced dining room.

Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend guest requests, memos, reservations and similar written materials.
• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
• Ability to move through a crowded room to seat guests with ease.
• Ability to handle customer concerns with empathy and positive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive and offer seating options.
• Escort guests to their table and present the menu.
• Read, maintain, and log daily entries to coordinate between shifts and management.
• Maintain proper dining room setup and seat guests appropriately.
• Receive reservations and coordinate special functions in the restaurant.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work as needed.
