Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend guest requests, memos, reservations, and promotions.
• Ability to remember, recite and promote menu items.
• Ability to move through crowded rooms to seat guests with or without assistance.
• Ability to handle customer complaints in a friendly, proactive way.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with staff and guests.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to audiences.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests, offer seating, escort to table, present menu.
• Maintain daily logbook communications between shifts and management.
• Keep proper dining room setup.
• Coordinate reservations and special functions as needed.
• Be available to work on a regular basis and follow attendance rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
