Job summary

Azul Hospitality is seeking a friendly host for Le Meridien Element Salt Lake City Downtown. You will warmly welcome guests, guide them to seating, and coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure a stellar guest experience.

The role requires strong communication, basic computer and POS skills, and a customer-first attitude in a fast-paced hotel dining environment. Previous food service experience is preferred; attendance and grooming standards apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak/read/write English fluently and communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Strong customer relations and hospitality-oriented mindset.
• Experience in food service and guest-facing roles is preferred.
• Safety and security policies must be followed at all times.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use point-of-sale systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at restaurant entrance and welcome them with a smile.
• Escort guests to tables and present menus.
• Coordinate with wait staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Refill beverages, set tables, and maintain clean dining areas.
• Assist with to-go prep, roll silverware, and restock condiments as needed.
• Follow management instructions and perform other duties as assigned.
