Job summary

Providence Hospitality Partners is seeking a friendly Restaurant Host to greet arriving guests, seat them promptly and set a welcoming tone for the dining experience. You will coordinate with servers, manage reservations, and maintain a clean, organized dining room.

The role emphasizes attentive guest service, clear communication, and the ability to stay calm during peak hours. Previous host/restaurant experience is preferred, with English fluency and a willingness to uphold our service

Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend guest requests, memos, reservations, promotional materials, event orders and similar written materials.
• Ability to move throughout a crowded room to seat guests with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a friendly and positive manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must speak proficient English.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer seating options and escort to tables.
• Present menus and coordinate seating with servers to optimize dining flow.
• Maintain log books, reservations records and communicate between shifts.
• Ensure dining room setup is proper and tables are ready for service.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
