We provide a corporate culture that values teamwork, a strong work ethic, service to others, and personal balance.SUMMARY: The Maintenance Staff is is primarily responsible for ensuring a well maintained building and guest ready rooms for our hotel guests by performing the following duties.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Guestroom preventative maintenance such as painting, battery replacement, smoke detector checks, and HVAC cleaningFollows established maintenance program, including any emergency repairs as required to keep down time to an acceptable minimumEnsures compliance with internal maintenance, safety and security procedures by following established codes and loss prevention guidelinesRecognizes equipment that needs repair, replacing, or adjusting and reports it to supervisorKeeps tools, machines, and all other company equipment in clean and proper working orderOperates simple machine tools, such as drill presses, power saws, grinders, etc.Maintaining the grounds, landscaping, outbuilding and parking areas in a clean, neat, safe, and attractive mannerResponds to emergency calls for repairs and maintenance as directed by the Maintenance ManagerPerforms other related duties as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS:Considerable knowledge of the practices, tools, and equipment used to troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical systems, lighting, carpentry and plumbing is requiredDemonstrated ability to follow supervisor’s directions effectively, and observe and remember detailsComputer skills requiredEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experienceRequires a minimum of four years of experience in facilities maintenance and repairPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:Continually required to stand, walk, and utilize hand and finger dexterityFrequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawlFrequently utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboardFrequently required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 poundsFrequently exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat or coldFrequently work near moving mechanical partsOccasionally work in high, precarious placesFrequently work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicalsFrequently exposure to outside weather conditionsOccasionally exposure to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious materialsFrequent exposure to loud noiseSALARY:HOURS:BENEFITS:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceCompany paid Basic Life and AD&D Insurance401(k) with Company matchPaid Time Off and State required Sick Pay8 Paid HolidaysHotel discounts by brandVoluntary Short-Term and Long-Term Disability
