Job summary

Potbelly is seeking a General Manager in Georgia to lead a busy shop environment, ensuring strong team performance and excellent guest experiences. The GM will manage P&L, schedule staff, control costs, and drive local marketing initiatives to maximize sales.

You will uphold food-safety standards and maintain a warm, energetic workplace. The role requires 2+ years GM experience in foodservice/retail, outstanding communication, and flexibility to work 45+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as General Manager in a restaurant or retail environment with P&L responsibility.
• Must meet Food Safety requirements and obtain a Food Safety Certification.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead fast-paced teams.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and develop shop team members.
• Schedule Associates and Shift Leaders; manage labor goals.
• Control costs of goods, variances and inventories within the shop.
• Drive local marketing and promotions to maximize sales potential.
