Popeyes is looking for a passionate General Manager to lead our restaurant in Lockport, IL. You will oversee all operations, motivate the team, and drive exceptional guest experiences while achieving financial goals.

You will recruit, train, and develop staff, manage inventory and costs, maintain high sanitation standards, and push sales growth through local marketing and a strong team culture. Growth opportunities abound with our fast-growing brand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, ideally as GM or AGM.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and decision-making.
• Financial acumen including understanding P&L statements.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the restaurant with high quality food, guest service and cleanliness.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop top talent for all team positions.
• Motivate and coach teams to achieve goals and exceptional guest experiences.
• Oversee inventory, food and labor costs and overall financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Drive sales growth and profitability via operational excellence and local marketing.
• Manage scheduling, payroll and administrative tasks efficiently.
• Build a positive team culture reflecting Popeyes values.
