Job summary

M&M Custard, LLC, a Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers franchisee, is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations in Owensboro. You will oversee a 25–40 person team, drive financial results, and ensure top-tier service across all dayparts.

The General Manager will report to the District Manager and will build a high-performing leadership team, maintain operational discipline, and deliver consistent results while fostering professionalism and accountability.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• Supervisory or Assistant Manager experience required.
• Experience in QSR or fast-casual preferred.
• Knowledge of POS, BOH systems, inventory, and reporting tools.
• Experience with cash handling and deposits.
• Proficiency in email, scheduling, and basic computer tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• ServSafe Certification (or equivalent) preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing restaurant team across all dayparts.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and certification programs for staff.
• Direct daily restaurant operations ensuring quality, service, cleanliness and speed.
• Drive financial performance by forecasting, labor planning, and cost controls.
• Plan and maintain staffing levels with efficient labor utilization.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and conduct regular audits.
• Develop managers to lead shifts and teams effectively.
