Job summary

Jimmy John's Sandwiches is seeking a General Manager to oversee all restaurant operations, ensuring high-quality sandwiches, world-class customer service, and profitability. You will lead a team of assistants and staff, manage hiring, training, and scheduling, and maintain oversight of inventory, budgeting, and daily reporting.

Responsibilities include forecasting item usage per shift, supervising food prep, and ensuring cleanliness and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English (read, write and speak).
• Experience leading a team and scheduling staff.
• Ability to work 50-60 hours per week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manages a staff of Assistant Managers and employees.
• Oversees hiring, training, evaluating, discipline and termination.
• Manages ordering, receiving, storage and issuing of supplies for the unit.
• Forecasts food items for each shift and estimates consumption.
• Supervises food preparation and service while on duty.
• Ensures world class customer service and a clean, organized environment.
• Coordinates routes/deliveries and supervises drivers to maximize delivery speed.
• Completes daily and period paperwork with accuracy and integrity.
