Church’s Chicken in Vallejo, CA is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations, uphold brand standards, and drive sales with a focus on service quality and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on leadership, staffing, training, and ensuring compliance with food safety and operational procedures. The candidate will promote teamwork, manage costs, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ experience in QSR industry / full-service concept.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented; accurate.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and math skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Fully staff the store with quality people and recruit, hire, and retain restaurant employees.
• Ensure the entire team is certified according to current training processes.
• Create a service-oriented culture and promote teamwork.
• Evaluate performance and recommend salary increases.
• Develop and grow team members and future managers.
• Deliver brand standards and maintain facility, equipment, and cleanliness.
• Achieve sales goals and identify Local Store Marketing opportunities.
• Maintain staffing levels to meet sales and adhere to labor laws.
