Job summary

Huddle House is seeking a General Manager to run a profitable restaurant, ensure quality service and guest satisfaction, and foster a positive work environment. You will coach, mentor, and care for your team while maintaining brand standards and daily operations.

Responsibilities include budgeting, inventory, staffing, training, and community engagement to grow sales and profitability. A ServSafe certification and prior restaurant management experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all hourly associates.
• Ability to cover all shifts during the unit's normal operation.
• Previous restaurant experience is required.
• Current ServSafe Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed budgets while focusing on cost of goods sold and EBITDA.
• Manage all daily unit paperwork including sales reports and payroll data.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times.
• Complete monthly unit inspections using the Unit Inspection form.
• Order food and supplies daily.
• Hire and discipline staff members.
• Develop staff to assume duties when you are out of the unit.
• Hold monthly staff meetings to discuss relevant information.
• Establish a visible community presence to drive business and sales.
• Enforce brand standards and company policies.
• Ensure all new hire paperwork, timesheets, payroll data, and disciplinary actions are completed correctly.
• Train staff in POS systems and back/front of house operations.
• Notify District Manager or VP of Operations of any hurdles to success.
