Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a General Manager in Washington (Lacey area) to lead a MOD store with a passion for people and performance. You’ll steer two focus areas: coaching your team and driving on-floor guest experiences, while ensuring profitability and food safety compliance.

You’ll recruit, develop, and lead the Squad, build community relations, and manage scheduling and inventory to meet goals. A strong customer-centric, growth-minded leadership style is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of General Manager experience in a restaurant.
• Tenacious spirit and ownership mindset.
• Proven success training, developing, and leading teams.
• Experience ordering, receiving, and controlling inventory within a food service environment.
• Must obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start date.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations to drive best business results and guest experience.
• Provide leadership to the Squad, including Store Coach and Shift Captains.
• Identify opportunities to improve store performance and develop action plans.
• Engage Squad in solving problems and achieving store goals.
• Maintain staffing levels through proactive recruitment and selection processes.
• Build and sustain community relationships.
• Distribute staffing and schedules using forecasts and labor model; train new and existing Squad.
• Ensure cleanliness and food safety within the store.
• Hold Squad accountable for performance and encourage growth.
• Manage store inventory and ensure timely ordering, receiving, and labeling.
