Job summary

MOD Pizza is seeking a General Manager to lead the restaurant and a squad to deliver the MOD commitment to guests. You will coach leaders, manage operations, and ensure profitability while living MOD values.

The role emphasizes leadership, business acumen, and people development, with a focus on guest experience, schedule planning, and community involvement across two primary areas: team leadership and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading leaders in restaurant management.
• Experience executing training, performance and staffing programs.
• Strong business acumen with ability to read financials.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must obtain a food safety certification within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the squad by developing leaders and ensuring accountability.
• Identify opportunities to improve restaurant performance and develop action plans.
• Own staffing and build talent pipelines; interview with dignity and compliance.
• Follow policies and timelines for employee processing and documentation.
• Utilize training plans to move new hires along learning journeys and measure progress.
• Champion community engagement and lead fundraising and catering initiatives.
• Plan staffing using forecasts and labor models to meet MOD standards.
• Maintain loss prevention and asset protection procedures.
• Manage ordering and inventory to meet targets.
• Communicate internal updates and participate in meetings and trainings.
• Build relationships with vendors and facilities teams to keep the restaurant in top condition.
