Job summary

MOD Pizza is seeking a General Manager to lead a MOD squad and deliver exceptional guest experiences while ensuring profitability. You will coach leaders, optimize staffing, and execute community engagement initiatives to elevate restaurant performance.

You will manage training, compliance, and operations, using available tools to drive results and maintain high standards across the venue.

Qualifications

• Experience leading restaurant teams and managers.
• Ability to read P&L and scorecard results to drive action plans.
• Proven ability to train, coach, and staff a restaurant.
• Strong business acumen and decision-making under pressure.
• Must obtain required certifications within 30 days where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the squad and develop leadership capabilities.
• Review restaurant results and develop action plans to improve performance.
• Own staffing, interviewers, and maintaining staffing levels.
• Ensure compliance and proper documentation across the employee lifecycle.
• Use training plans to progress new hires and demonstrate MOD standards.
• Act as a community engagement ambassador through fundraising and catering.
• Plan staffing using forecasts and labor models, while ensuring coverage.
• Maintain loss prevention and asset protection procedures.
• Manage ordering and inventory to meet targets.
• Communicate internal information and participate in meetings and trainings.
• Build strong vendor relationships and keep the restaurant in top condition.
