Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts seeks a results‑driven Restaurant General Manager to lead our hotel dining operations in San Francisco. You will be accountable for guest experiences, staff leadership, budget management and ensuring service standards across food and beverage outlets.

The ideal candidate has hotel restaurant management experience, strong budgeting and people skills, and a hands‑on approach to training, inventory control and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Previous hotel restaurant experience preferred; management experience required.
• Basic computer skills; MS Office familiarity preferred.
• Experience with MICROS or hotel restaurant systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the food and beverage team in menu planning and development.
• Drive restaurant revenues through marketing, promotions and upselling.
• Effectively manage restaurant budget.
• Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations.
• Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, check quality and quantity.
• Monitor portion sizes, garnishing and presentation of food.
• Monitor budgets and payroll records; review financial transactions.
• Schedule staff hours and assign duties.
• Monitor health and fire regulations for food prep, service and facility maintenance.
• Keep sanitation records required by government agencies.
• Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service.
• Estimate consumption to anticipate purchasing needs.
• Review procedures to improve service, performance, or safety.
• Train workers in service, sanitation and safety procedures.

Education

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) or Work Equivalent

Previous hotel restaurant experience preferred. Management experience required.

Basic computer skills needed. Familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred.

Experience with hotel restaurant systems such as MICROS is preferred.
