Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is hiring a Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will drive sales, control costs, and develop a high-performing team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities include managing labor, inventory, budgets, and KPIs while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The role requires strong leadership and a hands-on approach to operating excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven restaurant management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with P&L and cost control.
• Inventory processes, counting, and analysis.
• Schedule writing, sales forecasting, and hourly wage and labor management.
• Proficiency with restaurant systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring excellence in food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Manage labor, food costs, inventory, and overall financial performance.
• Monitor KPIs, including sales, payroll, and operational efficiency.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop team members while fostering a positive culture.
• Oversee cash handling, budgeting, and reporting.
• Resolve guest concerns and ensure a top-tier dining experience.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Support local marketing and promotional initiatives.
• Step into FOH/BOH roles as needed to support the team.
