Job summary

Burger King in the United States seeks a Restaurant General Manager to lead a single-restaurant operation focused on profitability, guest satisfaction, people development and daily operations. The RGM reports to the District Manager and oversees an Assistant Manager, Shift Coordinators and 20-45 team members.

Responsibilities include owning P&L, driving sales, coaching staff, recruiting, scheduling, ensuring compliance and brand standards, and stepping in for the Assistant Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous restaurant management experience.
• Strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of restaurant profitability.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated leadership and guest service skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Owns the restaurant P&L and drives profitability.
• Reviews key P&L lines to increase profitability.
• Drives sales through proactive guest service and operations management.
• Motivates and directs team to exceed guest expectations.
• Manages guest experience and responds to guest issues.
• Leads recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
• Provides coaching to Team Members and Shift Coordinators.
• Manages labor with scheduling and staffing.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and brand standards.
• Performs duties of Assistant Manager when necessary.
