Job summary

Village Inn is seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations. You will champion the company’s vision, values and culture while leading a high-performing team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of restaurant management experience, strong leadership, and solid knowledge of budgets, scheduling and compliance with health and safety standards. A flexible, hands-on leader is required to drive results.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance required.
• Management Training Program certification after hire.
• Completion of Next Step Management Development program required.
• Serve Safe Food/Alcohol certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire and train team members; manage staffing and schedules.
• Lead with Vision, Values and Culture; uphold professional workplace interactions.
• Drive guest-focused service and staff motivation to meet objectives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and health standards.
• Monitor inventory, food cost, scheduling, and financial reporting.
• Oversee facility operations, safety, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain communication with leadership and HR on discipline and staffing decisions.
