Job summary

Workstream is seeking a General Manager for a National Franchised Restaurant in the Suffolk, VA area. You will lead the operation, sales growth and profitability while upholding company standards, policies and values.

You will recruit, train, coach and retain a top-tier team and ensure legal compliance across all areas of the business. You will develop and implement business plans, manage budgeting, and leverage marketing tools to grow in-house and off-premise sales.

Qualifications

• 3+ years General Manager experience (external candidates)
• Casual dining/fast-casual experience preferred
• Internal Candidates: 1+ years as AGM
• Must have legal right to work in the United States
• Willingness to train at training store in the Hampton Roads area

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned restaurant to defined levels of operations excellence
• Develop and execute short- and long-term business plans and budgets
• Build sales using marketing programs and tools (POP, reader board, catering)
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, develop and retain a best-in-class team
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies
• Maintain facility, safety, and equipment standards
• Engage with the community to build brand awareness
