Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a General Manager to directly impact team development, operational standards, and growth of a growing restaurant group in the Los Angeles food scene.

The role focuses on hands-on leadership, P&L ownership, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional guest experiences and profitability. You’ll drive quality, mentor staff, and help open new locations in a fast-paced, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Scratch kitchen experience is required.
• Proven track record of leading and developing teams.
• Experience managing P&L, labor targets, and COGS.
• Ability to maintain high operational and food quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on leadership - driving quality, product availability, and guest-ready presentation
• Coach and mentor the team
• Lead performance improvement efforts to enhance Yelp ratings and maintain a standard of excellence
• Own store P&Ls and drive profitability through strategic decision-making and operational rigor
• Implement preventative maintenance and ensure clean, safe environments for guests and staff
• Collaborate with Marketing and other departments to build store traffic and support local initiatives
• Play a key role in new restaurant openings, ensuring operational routines and high standards are in place
