Job summary

Snooze Tempe is seeking a General Manager who will lead daily operations, guest experience, and team development at our Tempe location. You will drive sales, manage costs, and foster a culture of hospitality in line with Snooze standards.

The General Manager will mentor staff across all hourly roles, coordinate marketing initiatives, and build strong ties with the local community. You’ll oversee scheduling, compliance, and performance, ensuring any issues are resolved promptly.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of operations and leadership experience.
• Able to operate a cash register and POS system.
• Strong math skills for cash handling and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive responsive, friendly, courteous, and exceptional service.
• Be a role model and trainer in all Snooze hourly positions.
• Take 100% responsibility for the quality of products and service while achieving sales and growth objectives.
• Develop and implement restaurant marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.
• Build relationships with the local community and nonprofits to bond Snooze to the community.
• Hire, train, review, evaluate, and terminate staff per policy.
• Schedule labor to meet sales and labor cost objectives.
• Develop staff into future leadership.
• Monitor financial controls and cash handling procedures in line with Snooze policies.
• Prepare paperwork, reports, and schedules in a timely and organized manner.
• Comply with all health, safety, and labor regulations.
• Ensure food and beverage products are prepared and served to Snooze standards; maintain equipment.
• Create and maintain a fun, safe, and rewarding work environment.
