Job summary

Snooze is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Phoenix to lead restaurant operations and team performance across Front of House and Heart of House. You will guide shifts, manage financials, and develop future Snooze leaders while upholding our radical hospitality and quality standards.

You’ll oversee daily operations, coach staff, monitor food safety, and partner with the GM on marketing and local initiatives to drive guest satisfaction and profitability.

Qualifications

• : Must have 2+ years of restaurant management experience
• : Excellent basic math skills and ability to operate a POS system
• : Proven coaching and team development abilities
• : Experience with scheduling, payroll, inventory and cost control
• : Knowledge of food safety certifications and regulatory requirements
• : Strong communication and leadership presence

Responsibilities

• Understand Snooze policies and uphold expectations
• Ensure guests receive exceptional service and consistent execution of menu items
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and temperature
• Execute daily systems for safety, sanitation and quality checks
• Control purchasing, receiving, inventory and cost management
• Manage POS, discounts, and reconciling cash/receipts
• Lead shifts and provide coaching to Snoozers
• Open/close restaurant following guidelines
• Lead labor planning and cross-training
• Support local marketing initiatives and community engagement
• Drive leadership development and succession planning
• Support GM in budgeting, payroll and accounts payable
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and labor regulations
• Create a fun, safe, and rewarding work environment
• Contribute to long-term growth and profitability
