Job summary

Shake Shack in Seattle is seeking an experienced restaurant leader to manage shift operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed while motivating a high-performing team of hourly Team Members.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of leadership experience in food service and possess food safety certification; strong problem solving and excellent communication are essential as you participate in interviews and help with daily operations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction
• Strong problem solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.).
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
