Church's Chicken in Chattanooga, TN seeks a Restaurant General Manager to lead one location. The role drives guest satisfaction and sales while controlling expenses in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

The GM will supervise staff, train teams, manage budgets, and enforce policies. Flexibility to work 50–55 hours weekly and weekends is required; high school diploma or GED is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have 1 year of supervisory experience in the restaurant industry.
• Complete training and pass all applicable tests.

Responsibilities

• Create in-store service environment exceeding guest expectations.
• Build team commitment to guest service standards.
• Communicate with guests to obtain feedback and identify improvements.
• Address guest complaints in-person or by phone.
• Apply listen–apologize–satisfy–thank model to complaints.
• Ensure calls are handled promptly, courteously and professionally.
• Direct and conduct regular training for team members.
• Provide regular feedback and identify improvement areas.
• Cross-train and develop new skills in reports.
• Foster a positive, rewarding work environment.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe restaurant for guests and staff.
• Manage budgets and adjust as needed.
• Supervise labor cost reporting and operational reporting.
• Oversee maintenance and repairs on equipment.
