Border Foods is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee the full restaurant operation, drive a safe, welcoming environment, and coach a strong team. You will uphold core values, manage schedules, and ensure high-quality food and service for guests.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in retail or food service, strong hiring capability, and the flexibility to work varied hours, including holidays. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Must work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management position with a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant.
• Build a strong team that provides customers with great food and a friendly experience.

• Ensure health and safety standards are met and that staff deliver fast, friendly service.
• Monitor scheduling and labor to optimize performance and costs.
