Job summary

Border Foods LLC is seeking a hands-on Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and build a high-performing team. You will reinforce core values, coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer experiences while controlling costs and maintaining quality food and service.

The role requires strong leadership, 50+ hour work weeks, and flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. A ServeSafe certification and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience or combined experience and education.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• This non-exempt management position is expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor scheduling, labor, inventory, and ensure quality food and service.
