Job summary

Border Foods LLC in the United States is actively seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations, cultivate a high-performing team, and deliver an outstanding guest experience. You will own P&L, develop staff, and ensure safe, high-quality food and service across the operation.

You will be rewarded with top-tier pay up to $100,000 base plus strong bonus potential, annual trips to Mexico for top performers, education and scholarship opportunities, comprehensive medical/dental/vision

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years restaurant or retail experience, or combined experience and education.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends, and some holidays. Schedule demands may change.
• This exempt management position is expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, with additional hours as needed to meet business and operational demands.
• ServeSafe Certified
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate the full restaurant and build a strong, customer-focused team.
• Ensure safe, quality food and fast, friendly service.
• Lead scheduling and deployment of the team.
• Monitor team performance and enforce standards.
• Drive profit using P&L insights.
• Hire and train team members; manage cash handling and loss prevention.
• Maintain health and safety standards and compliance.
