Job summary

Potbelly Corporate is seeking a General Manager in Lone Tree, CO to lead a busy shop. You will drive team performance, coach staff, manage P&L, and ensure food safety and customer satisfaction. The role requires a hands-on leader comfortable on the shop floor and in front of customers.

The GM will oversee scheduling, labor targets, promotional campaigns, and community engagement while maintaining deadlines and high standards of operation. 45+ hour weeks and lifting up to 50 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Minimum 2 years as General Manager in restaurant/retail with P&L
• Must pass Food Safety Certification
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Able to stand 8–9 hours and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Train, coach and develop shop team members
• Interview, hire and onboard great people
• Lead local shop marketing and promotions to maximize sales
• Maintain Good Vibes culture and strong team retention
• Manage schedules and labor goals while controlling costs
• Ensure health, safety and food safety standards are met
• Handle customer issues and complaints effectively
• Spend 80–90% of time on the shop floor
